The Problem:
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the informal economy represents over 80% of employment (8 out 10 jobs) and between 25% to 65% of Sub-Saharan Africa’s GDP, depending on the country. This leaves most of the region’s workers and companies outside of the productive economy, unable to access government pension and health benefits on the one hand, and access to bank accounts and related financial services, on the other hand.

How CLIKAFRIK is approaching the problem
CLIKAFRIK Group is working with governments to build and operate digital single business windows to facilitate business registration, enrolment to pension and health benefits, bank account opening, and access to financial services.
As a result, the company has built the Guichet Numérique d’investissement (“GNI”) as a G2B and B2B solution to empower entrepreneurs and to remove all the administrative friction that constrain the delivery of public services to the business community.
The company has developed a data-driven approach to help governments generate up-to-date statistics and information on private sector activity with the goal to better inform decision making at the policy level to further improve the business climate and boost entrepreneurship.
