Centre Diagnostic is a technology-driven polyclinic that provides quality and inclusive healthcare in Gabon with plans to treat patients across the continent. Since its founding in 2021, Centre Diagnostic has provided care to over 50,000 patients.

The problem

The continent is plagued with medical deserts that prevent millions of people in need of access to primary care. In large agglomerations, the issue of quality and inclusive healthcare remains as many healthcare facilities lack the essential infrastructure to provide strong diagnostics and turn away patients with government/universal insurance policies.

How Centre Diagnostic is approaching the problem

Centre Diagnostic is aiming to fill some of the gaps by investing in the build-up of world-class healthcare facilities from the equipment (Imagery, molecular labs, and more), to high-grade medical talent, and innovation in the way it uses technology and data to treat its patients

Centre Diagnostic addresses medical deserts through the provision of telemedicine. It addresses inclusive healthcare through partnerships with universal health insurance providers. It improves healthcare by focusing on preventative care as well as curative care, and by offering a wide range of clinical services as a one-stop-shop.
